LE SAVOIR-FAIRE CIRIER
MAISON FLAMEL Alchemical Candles are scented interior candles,
charged with positive energy. They bring luck.
The inspiration for this project comes from Yaguel Didier, the greatest medium in France and friend of the creator Samer Zakharia.
To make this candle, MAISON FLAMEL deployed several skills with renowned partners.
Renowned partners
Artoria is a porcelain factory established in Limoges for more than 100 years.
In 2007, Artoria obtained the prestigious label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant", and is holder of the "Limoges Porcelain Protected Geographical Indication".
The custom-made container for MAISON FLAMEL is entirely handmade in Limoges porcelain. The decoration is made by decal applied by hand and baked at 600°C in order to be able to withstand washing and the wear and tear of time.
The National Library of France (BnF), so called since 1994, is the heir
of the royal collections built up since the end of the Middle Ages.
MAISON FLAMEL has entered into a partnership with the BnF which has given it privileged access to historical manuscripts on alchemy. This partnership between the BnF and a Beauty Maison is the first of its kind.
The coats of arms on the candles come from a 17th century manuscript written by Charles Perrault and illuminated by Jacques Bailly, painter of the king.
The wax of the Alchemical Candles is an additional illustration of the French know-how so dear to MAISON FLAMEL.
Indeed, the House has called on the candle designer Patrice Dana, located in the heart of the Marais just a stone's throw from rue Nicolas Flamel, a happy omen and a wink of fate if ever there was one. The artisanal wax thus created is highly natural and allows an optimal diffusion of the fragrances.
Finally, the four fragrances of the Candles were created by Samer Zakharia, in collaboration with perfumers Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel, who had previously worked on MAISON DOUZE fragrances.
The end result is a beautiful production made in France, an alchemical union of passion, art and history,
all done in a spirit of cooperation and benevolence.
